DESCRIPTION:“Tanzania and the Kilimanjaro Region ABC Dreams”  by  John De Ronde \n \nJohn set up ABC Dreams as a Charity for vulnerable children in the Kilimanjaro region. The village he met catalogued 172 orphans and vulnerable children and he was asked by the village committee to help. He now supports over 100 children in both primary and secondary schools in the village  while indirectly supporting the whole of the rest of the secondary school in a food planting program. \nHe states that if you threw a dart at a map of Africa you would pinpoint a village in need.

DESCRIPTION:“The Able Seamen and Tragedy of  HMS Titanic” by Angela Young \n\n\nAngela is a Great Granddaughter of a survivor of the Titanic tragedy and as such has personal details and research passed down to her from her family. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI found letters between my great-grandmother\, the Countess of Rothes\, and Able Seaman Thomas Jones\, the aristocrat and the able seaman of this talk\, while working on my novel THE DANCE of LOVE. Both survived the sinking of RMS Titanic. \n\n\n\nEverybody knows that on her maiden voyage Titanic hit an iceberg and sank\, but the people who kept hope alive among the frozen\, frightened lifeboat passengers\, the people who piloted those lifeboats\, are sometimes forgotten. This talk remembers two of them\, two who showed great courage\, skill and kindness on that tragic night; two whose backgrounds were quite different and who\, in any other circumstances\, would never have met.
