The members share a plot at the Keswick Road allotments. This is between four people, meaning that each person has an easily managed plot size, roughly 5 x 6 metres.
At the moment there is a spare plot , and it is an ideal time to get it in shape, ready for spring planting. If you want to know more about having a plot. please get in touch with Hugh.
There are shared tools, wheelbarrow, water butts, hosepipe and a compost heap, We also share a raspberry patch and a row of blackberries.
All the allotmenteers are a friendly bunch, and are always happy to be asked for advice, offer spare plants etc.
There is also a garden shop at the allotments. It is normally open on Sunday mornings, selling an extensive range, all at very good discounts, along with plants in season (by order).
