We meets at members’ homes with a pre-arranged rota.
We started with no great knowledge of the subject but each host is expected to research a particular variety of grape, country or region and then present four appropriate wines each time for tasting. Afternoons start on a reasonably serious note at a table, but finish up with tea and biscuits spread out at which the bacchic effect is quite noticeable.
